Chris Chornohos has a wide variety of Residential and Commercial real estate experience.  Chris started his real estate and investment career in 2002, and in that time has worked at Colliers International, JLL and Newmark on both the brokerage and valuation and advisory side of the industry.

Chris has been involved in numerous transactions for his clients on the acquisition and disposition of development sites and investment properties of every asset class. Chris also has experience on the construction side of the industry and was involved in securing large projects for a national contractor. Chris is currently Vice President at Newmark a large global commercial real estate firm focused on the valuation and advisory with an emphasis on development land and multifamily properties and multifamily market studies. He also owns residential and commercial properties in Alberta.

Chris holds an AACI and MRICS designation.
Chris is an active developer in the Alberta market with a focus on townhouse and duplex rentals. A fundamental shift is occurring within the Canadian multifamily sector and the time is right for investors to capitalize on the massive demand for new purpose-built rentals.

​Situated at the corner of 28 Street and Bow Trail SW, Shag 5 is proposed as a stacked townhouse rental development. The proposed 10 unit building has been designed to respond to the demands for both affordable micro and townhouse units within the inner-city.

​A development permit application for the project is currently being reviewed by City of Calgary planning department. Returns to investors is projected at 31%.
